Website Cerdas Innovation to Optimize Learning Efficiency Through Accommodating Differentiated Learning Styles in Class XII

Abstract

Time efficiency in learning is crucial, as time is limited while knowledge is boundless. The main issue in Class XII IPS 3 at SMAN 1 Pagak lies in the students' diverse learning styles, coupled with limited instructional time, which forces teachers to generalize teaching methods, potentially leading to learning loss. The material on Nusantara decorative patterns was chosen due to the class's lowest average scores compared to others and the reliance on textbooks without integrating media aligned with the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) framework. This study aims to identify initial needs, assess the feasibility of the media, and evaluate the impact of using a Website as a learning tool that accommodates differentiation. The research employs both quantitative and qualitative methods using the 4D model by Thiagarajan, which includes four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and pretest-posttest evaluations analyzed using the Likert scale and N-Gain effectiveness. The research population comprises Class XII IPS 3 students, with samples representing auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning styles. Media expert validation results show a score of 86.6% (highly feasible), while material expert validation achieves 87.5% (highly feasible). Small group trials yield a score of 84.8% (highly feasible), and large group trials result in an N-Gain of 0.755 (highly effective). These findings demonstrate that the Website Cerdas effectively enhances students' understanding of decorative pattern materials.
