Theme: Enhancing Educational Technology for Effective Learning
ABOUT ACE
The Angstrom Center of Education (ACE) was established in 2018 which engaged in the field of education, specifically in the field of social and technology. This organization aims to promote the awareness and understanding of issues and progression of education, social, and technology. Another activities organized by ACE are publication for books and journals. In addition, ACE has a driving institution, the Lembaga Pusat Pelatihan, Pengembangan dan Penelitian Pendidikan Indonesia (LP5I) (Indonesian Education Training, Development and Research Center). ACE opens opportunities for collaboration and funding in the fields of scientific development, research, and community service.
PURPOSES
- Expanding the research collaboration network between Institutions of Education, primarily in the field of education, social, and technology;
- Empowering the scientific insight of lecturers and researchers;
- Establishing more extensive research collaboration with foreign education institutions in harmony, contributing to the people of Indonesia;
- Enhancing the number of Scopus-indexed publications;
- Providing solutions for teachers’ competencies development especially in education, social, and technology.
INTRODUCTION
In recent years, educational technology has become increasingly pivotal in shaping the landscape of learning and teaching. This theme focuses on exploring innovative approaches, methodologies, and tools that enhance educational experiences through technology integration. By fostering collaboration among researchers, educators, and technologists, this initiative aims to advance our understanding and application of educational technology in diverse educational settings.
Key Areas of Focus
- Pedagogical Innovations: Investigating how educational technology can transform traditional teaching methods, promote active learning, and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Digital Content and Resources: Analyzing the impact of digital content, open educational resources (OER), and multimedia tools on student engagement, accessibility, and learning outcomes.
- Adaptive Learning Technologies: Examining adaptive learning systems, personalized learning platforms, and AI-driven tools to tailor educational experiences based on individual student needs and preferences.
- Mobile Learning: Exploring the role of mobile devices, apps, and mobile-friendly platforms in enabling ubiquitous learning experiences inside and outside the classroom.
- Assessment and Analytics: Utilizing data analytics, learning analytics, and assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of educational technology interventions and inform instructional decisions.
